Prize Presentation in Mee Toh School

Not sure is it that Janice had improved this year, she got 2nd place in her mid-year exam. We thought that she got it out of sheer luck. But after the year-end exam, we are delighted to find that Janice managed to get 3rd place in her class and also get into 87th place out of 300 students. This is amazing. For the past 2 years, she always maintained at 150th place out of 300 students. So 87th place is of definitely a nice surprise for us.

Being 3rd in class, she is delighted to announce that she will be going on stage to receive her award..... isn't it surprising....???? She was so eager to go on stage, as this is her 1st time ever receiving a award....

2010 Christmas Eve

To do something special this year we decided to take a walk down Orchard Road on Christmas Eve.

We parked our car at Suntec (as we figured out that carpark fee is cheaper than parking at Orchard area) and took a train to Orchard. Anthony was surprised that the MRT had changed so much since he last took the train about 4-5 years ago. He was amazed that the train can be so packed. I was thinking.... he seems so "mountain tortoise" hehehe....

Janice's Birthday (13 Dec'10)

Time really flies, its almost the end of 2010. Janice is always waiting eagerly for Dec to come, so that she will have a chance to have a birthday cake.

This year, she can finally invite her friends over for a small party. She even told her daddy that she can't go out with him (that we did every year) on her birthday as she will be having friends over for her birthday. Haha... daddy is so disappointed...!!! Anyway... when kids grow older... she will prefer friends then parents. But I hope this day will come later.....

While sorting our documents last night, found a few photos of our little princess when she was in childcare (from 18 months onwards). These are precious memories - the stages of my princess's growth...

Long over due ...

Have not been writing in my blog for a long long time... Maybe the "kick" of creating the blog is gone...

Anyway here is the update.... Sold off our HDB flat in Sengkang and bought a resale in Punggol. Will be collecting the keys to our new on 8 October 2010. So will start the process of renovating it. Still have not been able to decide on a reliable renovating company. Still scouting around.

Brought Janice to Alive Gallery on 8 Sep'10. She liked it very much, asking many Qs to Mona Lisa. Sadly camera is not allowed, only 2 photo spots.
