Pleasant Surprise!!

Prizes for 2011 was given out last Friday (29 June 2012).

Janice had been eagerly waiting to receive her 2nd in class position prize since last year. Finally the day came, but we had a pleasant surprise..... she was given 1st in class position prize. Wasn't it sweet.... Janice was very happy as this means there is more value to the Popular voucher, which she plans to use it to buy story books!!

Bravo Janice. Keep up the good work.

Princess's Achievement in 2012

On the 1st day of school, Janice came back and told me that her name is on the list of 2011 1st in Math and English in her P4-6 class.

Surprise.... surprise.... Never in my dream that she will be 1st in these 2 subjects, especially English(her weakest subject). Maybe I had underestimated her abilities.Or maybe she is just lucky. Anyway, I went to school today (for camp briefing) to take a shot of them to keep as remembrance. Don't think she will have another again... (not very well taken. Will try to get a better shot next time)

Korean Dinner In JB

We went to JB for some shopping and mani/pedi. Also had a wonderful dinner at the Korean restaurant.

Too free, so decided to make another bag.

This book did not give any instructions, just the measurements. Using my previous "experience", I managed to complete it with just 1 day.What an improvement.....!!!! But sad to say, I am not very satisfied. Maybe its the cloth, do not feel good..... Might do some modification on it....

Next project is to finish making 2 blankets - for Janice & myself....

Second time making this bag, I had a better understanding of the step provided in the instruction guide. With Janice's feedback, I decided to make this slightly bigger.... to put in more things.
